Tom Stogsdill - Vice President of Development

At the March 9, 2018 Foundation Board meeting, the board approved employing Tom Stogsdill as director of development in a part-time capacity. Tom has a heart for missions and serves First Baptist Church in Allen, Texas as deacon missions / outreach liaison. He has been on multiple mission trips and is involved weekly in the church’s evangelism ministry.

Tom has extensive fundraising experience, starting with church capital campaign consulting. Since 1988 he served as chief development officer at Wingate University and Elon University, both in North Carolina. He also served in a similar role with Mississippi State University and the University of South Dakota Foundation. After “retirement” in 2012 he moved to north Texas and served for nearly two years as the regional development officer for Oklahoma Baptist University.

“I am excited to work with the dedicated members of the Foundation board and the wonderful staff of the Casa in their mission of bringing the gospel to Hispanic peoples and helping disciple them as followers of Jesus Christ. I enjoy raising funds for such a noble enterprise and look forward to meeting with many friends of the Casa to partner with them in the great work that is being done under the leadership of Mrs. Raquel Contreras.”

It is with grateful anticipation that our Board looks forward to working with Tom Stogsdill as he joins our team in the role of Director of Development. Our prayer is that as we move forward together, it will increase our efforts and our ability to secure funds used in helping disciple Hispanic people of the world.
